What everyone getting?

I filled my tank up.

Did 112.3 Miles, filled it up again (£13.85 @ 90.9p/L)

Works out about 34MPG, this milage was mostly motorway doing about 70/80Mph and about 10 - 20 miles of town driving.

Does that seem reasonable?

 That seems good to me. I get about 27mpg lol, your not driving it hard enough damn it

Seems fine mate.

I get approx;

44mpg m/way driving at 60/65

34mpg m/way driving at 75/80

29mpg on a normal tank full. Mixed driving but hardly any long m/way runs & too much 'fun' moment haha!

14mpg on track iirc, think I worked it out as that lol!

I get around the 28-30Mpg and that's only town/lane driving. Car very rarely sees 5th gear.

Although now I go a different route to college and have a mile long 6% hill to go up. It's a dual carriageway and I canneh help doing 90 up it lol.

Managed 20.8mpg last week. Ouch.

Get up to 380 out of 50 litres as always run to warning light which is usually 5 litres left (reserve tank) and then fill. Only ran out once half mile from petrol station.

Mostly A road use though so 90 tops. Get less when I turn my ecotek off so know that helps in terms of fuel use although no longer getting 400 miles per tank like I used to as more motorway driving at 90mph.

2 of my friends have gti-6's. Ones selling up because of ridiculous petrol costs. It cost us £80 to get to Bournemouth in it, 3 up 270miles.

Around town I get 250-270 from a tank. Works out about 26mpg I think.

Get quite a bit more on the m-way though, usually over 310-320miles.

Steph's Xsara VTS drinks more fuel though. :P

right topped up to same level today as when first filled, cost me a tenner exactly and according to my reciept am getting 11.38 litres for me tenner! so i've used that much to cover 83.5 miles!! bear with me!

so by the 4.55 litres to the gallon reckoning am getting.........

wait for it.............

33.4 MPG!!

mite not sound much but am out the back end of a rebuild so am floorin it everywhere having fun!! although will admit to 30 miles twice for work and thats motorway but am still impressed! 8)

bump, check out the cost of fuel back in the day!!!

87.9p a litre :(

damn government and their rediculous fuel duty! 115.9 i paid for a litre on thursday

another reason i've resurrected this thread, went to whitby this weekend with the lass, so first proper long trip in the williams really since i bought it and filled the tank from on the light. 50 quid pretty much on the nose it cost me, getting me 43 litres of fuel

checked this morning and i've done 330 miles and got just over 1/4 tank left, so about £10 left, or 8.5 litres, so i've used 34.5litres to cover that mileage

getting me 43.5mpg!! :D
