It will be fine if you are still using the Williams CAT or a Williams De-CAT iirc

I think you need to use the Valver cat/de-cat as on the Williams the flanges are in the same plane, wheras on the Valver they're 90 degrees apart.

The hanger might be different on the U bend.

Hi,

I replaced the cat-back part of the exhaust on my Williams 1 last week.

I ended up putting a genuine Renault one on it.

I ordered a Bosal replacement first (cheaper). Both Bosal and Timax swore the 16v model would fit OK (they no longer list a Williams model).

The garage (Steadfast in Wokingham) tried to fit it and found two problems: the length of the centre silencer section connecting forwards to the cat was too short and the section passing over the axle needed a pinch in it because the Williams is lower than a 16v and "it would cause banging".

The centre silencer section was £70.96 + VAT
The rear silencer section was £159.92 + VAT
