sorry chaps not enough, it would cost you that to buy a crap set of willy wheels on ebay , then think of all those long hours spent polishing. silver wheels being kept now but polished not sold yet.

Mine cost £150 off of ebay including free P&P....If your paying £200+ its a bit steep imo

seanofnp
23-03-2006, 11:08
£350 is erm, well to say the least, a joke :(

stegreeny
23-03-2006, 11:26
well if you wana buy the other silver wheels and then spend a month polishing them up be my guest, you,ll soon wish you paid the extra.

Gav
23-03-2006, 11:35
did u want 250 for the ones that need refurbing?

thats way to steep also

why do sellers put such high prices on williams wheels?

whats so special about them?

there nice granted but nicer wheels out there for cheaper

must be because of the rep willy wheels seems to of gathered

seanofnp
23-03-2006, 14:44
well if you wana buy the other silver wheels and then spend a month polishing them up be my guest, you,ll soon wish you paid the extra.

Or pay someone to do it? How much, is it a full set? With tyres?

JC
23-03-2006, 14:57
I sold a set of 15" gold prima sport williams replica wheels for £300 with no tires. So this is not a bad price, if you are after a good set.

Gav
23-03-2006, 15:43
true, still madness tho, considering there a 15yr design now

Zollo
23-03-2006, 16:00
The age of the design has nothing to do with it mate. If anything, as it becomes older it will become even more desirable and expensive.

And if people are willing to pay the prices, then they'll continue to be worth what people put them up for :D

Gav
23-03-2006, 16:43
exactly...its the reputation williams wheels have gotten over the yrs

fair play tho, if i owned a set of williams wheels i would put them up for £300+ also :D

Zollo
23-03-2006, 16:46
I just sold some black ones for £240, but that's because I'm nice :P

freebone16v
23-03-2006, 16:55
i would have ripped your hand off for them mate...exactly what i was looking for

dam it

stegreeny
23-03-2006, 22:39
no the other genuine silver williams wheels i had didnt need refurbing they were a good buy, i think the reason ive put a higher price on the polished ones is as soon as i sell them im gona be gutted , its hard enough buying a set of willy wheels as it is , but finding ones that have been polished will be even harder, as soon as i sell them i will want them back. im buying a mint valver tomoz so very temted to stick them on there :D

Gav
23-03-2006, 23:32
DO IT!
and then u can stop teasing us with you wheels

stegreeny
23-03-2006, 23:41
cheers mate might just do that

matt uk

i've got polishing barrels at work
work for rolls royce with stones in them
we polish meatal turbine blades for the engines

also can grist/sand blast over them before at anything up tp 100psi
so can get them really good

if i stuck them in there ther polishing stones would have them done in 1 hour

gonna do this to my turbines

anyone wants anything polishing let me know

white16valver
26-03-2006, 23:25
