On a valver, will i be ok to put a set of lowering springs on, or would it be best to save my money and go for a full kit?? I put some spax -35mm springs on my 1.2 clio and my handling was destroyed!! i am told that my handling wouldn't be affected that much on my valver due to the shocks being stiffer as standard, am I right?

thanks in advance

Don't bother IMO. The handling is mint as it is.

My 16v on -35mm was very good, never had it at std height to compare to though. But it won't destroy the handling mate, it'll improve it.

I don't think it will improve it at all. I beat a lowered valver round Haynes last year, and a fair few willys, and it's on std susp.

The problem is, i want my clio lower, for looks mainly (but want to keep performance too) would you say i would be better off in getting a suspension kit?? I was looking at Koni....?

The Kirmanators used to look good and go pretty well on AVOs kit. Not coilovers.
