for those of us who wernt there :( ....who wone out of the mrk1s and mrk2s @ pod???

were there many clio lining up against eachova?

I only saw one Mk1 Vs Mk2 and the Mk1 won. Well done flamingmonkey.

But overall the mk2 won with a 14.0 (172 with throttle bodies)
The fastest mk1 was craigs with a very low 14

jays was running 15.2s
robbie was running 15.0's
2lives best was a 14.8
Monkeys was around the 14.8's but ive forgotten what his best was.
red valver turbo was running mid 14's
Martin was running 14.6 at his peak.

The day was very quiet and dissapointing really. Santa pod had the track shut until 1pm and then racing stopped reguarly and then it went to one lane....

was a long drive though

glad I didn't go now TBH... MK1's won though Northy, one good result for a MK2 don't mean nowt when the leaderboard is ALL MK1 mainly...

it shows that the MK2 boys were scared, but even after seeing some of the speedo vids the only one to watch for is Lucky's, didn't hear if any of the cam'd 200+ boys ran, but after watching some of their speedo vids on CS I can't wait to get mine mapped as watching the speedo vid with 2 live's chip in they'd get absolutely battered :twisted:

fukkin only actually managed to race 2 other cars.....other 2 runs were wen it was down to 1 lane. grrrrrrrr

still..raced craigs bodied beast....thort i had him for a bit too hehe...then i raced a fiat coupe 20v tub...disposed of that too hehe...tehn 2 runs on me own....which is shite in itself....nowt to race........bollox

Rob was this the first time you've run since chipwizard mate? I thought yours was going well 96mph terminals is well up on when we went to rtoc!

nah 2nd time think I ran at York, I reckon I can get higher terminals, it will go faster im sure of it

Interesting event really..

Being neutral then there was nothing really proven......... all cars had different levels of mods and there were lots of other factor especially the weather & experience.
