After mr Lunner kindly provided me with a new injector plug I thought I'd fit it before tomorrow.

I was told only 1 was buggered. In fact there are 3 knackered plugs. :evil:

I have now replaced the shonkiest of the 3 but at some point will have to do the remining 2.

It never ****ing stops does it?

my plugs keep popping off the injectors, done it 3 times now and starting to piss me off, thanks swervin_mervin for helping me when it first happened :D , what do i need to keep em on ?

think about age of car though, everything will go wrong at least once! some more than others though. only way to stop things is buy buying everything from new even the bolts! prob still get minor probs though...

jay mate, make suure the plugs have the little wire clips on the end of em, all four of my plugs are well snapped n stuff but they hold on fine so long as then clips are there!

Coops is right. I think mine were damaged when the head was re-conned. Would also explain the slight leak around 1 injector.

I think I'll have that other one off you Lunner. At some point when it gets warmer I'll remove the rail and injectors and give them a soaking and re-fit properly. Those metal clips are an arsehole to get on with everything in place. Had to use a small screwdriver and my little finger to get it on there.

thankfully the right parts of my plastic clip were in tact so metal clip stayed on the plugs b4 i connected them, i need new o rings n all really at some point but the bosch ons through brun/motorworld are like 30 quid!!! cant afford that yet! :shock:
