Plus my bonnet was badly dented.

choice of weave , plain / twill or carbon/kevlar, but he used to have a different coloured weaves as well. red, blue, gold and silver

Forumla one cars are carbon fiber and they are painted so it wasnt a stupid question. If they did 449 blue id have one.

Yes, you could get it painted after, but it would have to be a different finish so the paint would stick. but this is avilaible if need be.

Do you know why the Mercedes-Benz silver arrows race cars were silver?


Grand Prix cars were limited to a maximum weigth of 750kg minus fuel, water, oil and tires, the originally white cars were 1 kg too heavy, Mercedes Benz had the paint removed to lower weight; the 'Silver Arrows' were born. The W25 won the first race it competed in.

So are you sure you want a painted carbon bonnet? :mrgreen:
