engine conversion - MOT failure?

if your cars undergone an engine conversion wil u fail on the MOT or will it pass as long as everythins is workin order?........just crossed my mind so though id ask :-k

Make sure the logbook details are OK though as with the new computerised MOT's if anythings dodgy it will get flagged up and the DVLA will send an inspector round.
