I'm running 195/50 on 15's at the mo but it rubs on full lock! Does anyone else have this problem, or does whis mean that they could possibly be the wrong offset?

Probably got the wrong offset mate. Mine don't rub. Well, they do on one side but that's 'cos the arch liner is flapping about. :P

Bumper ?

well go look for signs where its rubbing.

Is that not obvious or are you a 'special' person?

mine rubs on less than full lock when i'm cornering to the right :? Just put some brand new AVO willy springs on and it still does it  to say i'm not happy is an understatement.

Mine rubs on full lock on the inner arches on both sides.

Doesn't make much difference if you need to use full lock while doing more than 5mph you've got a problem lol.

See ya

was thinking that possibly spacers would do the trick as the wheels do sit a fair bit inside the arch (not sure if this is offset or a common thing?) but herd that spacers can have a bit of a negative effect on handeling

Spacers ahve a good effect on handling, i'm runnign 15mm each side, but they have a negative effect ont eh life of your wheel bearings....more so than a normal lowered renault lol

I get rubbing when turning left, the 195/50/15 tyres rub against the rsi skirt on the passenger side... well annoying as the drivers side doesnt.

Im hoping lowering will solve it but i might have to chop the skirt some how :?

I had rubbing probs on the inside of the arches when it was using 16v suspension and too high an offset, put some spacers on and its was ok, but tbh proper offset wheels are better than spacers as lunners says they aren't the best thing in the world and reduce the amount of wheelbolt thread in the hub.

Spacers to bring wheel out the same same offset will ahve then same effetc on wheel bearighns as a wheel running th correct offset, and longer bolts can always be brought, the spacers i'm runnign ar 15mm....very wide hubcentric ones, with longer bolts
