Never done it before but need to transfer money to northy for the RR day.

go into the other persons bank and put money into their account using there acc number and sort code

if its same bank your bank will tell u how to do it otherwise go into his bank and just use a paying in slip they give u .job done. your bank can transfer to another bank but i know natwest charge u bout 28 quid for doing it so not worth it unless u are paying him lots of money,or loaded and lazy.

have a look on the site for transfers, as above though they usually charge you, just pop to the bank tomorrow.

what bank u with???is it the same bank he has??then maybe u can if its different bank then charges will still apply probaly, but i dont know much bout online banking tbh mate.

ok call up your bank say i wanna transfer say £100 to account number *********** they then double check it and there you go its doen easy as abc ! it enters almost instantly

I'll call tomorrow, don't fancy speaking to india :cry:

Can never understand them and i've only ever used the call centre once, was after hours so was a indian call centre and they royally ****ed up my account.

they put indians on there so you spend longer on the phone trying to understand them and you are paying through the nose for the bill as its normally a premium rate number !! shifty winkers !!

basically i click the "make a payment " tab and then manually set up an account(northys account) to pay into!

With HSBC make a payment is for companies.

Go inot standing orders and direct debits and set up a standing order, set date to today and make it a one off payment, usually takes a couple of days

Cheers mate works the same with HSBC, didn't see a option before to pay friends and family, just utility bill companys etc.
