Should have really posted here first

I have a new set of calipers to use when i reinstall my brakes tomorrow however pagid have supplied some caliper guide bolts as well as lucas (girling) in their boxes. Is there going to be much of a difference? if not i'll use the pagid ones as they shiny

Secondly, how tight in terms of torque do they need to be, there not that big as far as bolts go so i'm worried about overtightening or snapping them.

Lastly, should i use thread lock on them or not bother. Haven't bothered before but i noticed some people use it.

Cheers

fit the new ones with the new calipers as pagid shud supply correct bolts with pad kit! i just did mine up as tight as i cud pretty much with a smallish ratchet. you need to counterhold a larger nut to get the bolts in/out n all. i didnt bother with thread lock.

The new ones have a thread locking compound on them, if not then you shoudl use thread lock.

You must always replace them according to haynes

35Nm, so not massivly tight
