went down to the garage today and they had finished fitting the engine in my car :D , felt well strange driving back home, but no problems or strange noises to report either :D , feels very very fast now its on the 15's and got no ice in so its staying like that till after pod... as all was going well decided it would be a good time to fit the coilovers and lower the front a touch  also whacked on the willy spoiler while i was at it , 1 little thing tho is the garage did'nt have time to fit my upgraded fuelpump so im using the 1.8 one for now, this ok?? fills ok just wanna check..

( gotta get the eng bay steam cleaned )

nice one mate amd well done on getting your car back on the road :D may wait till i next go to hillpower and get nick to fit the pump as he cuts a hole right on top of it in the car to get to it ( loads easier  )

always thought that mate until i got the 1st car back from hillpower, thats actually the fuel sender unit under the black plastic cap, fuel pump is located to the right of this under the car's chassis, hence why he cut the hole next to the plastic cap to get to it. only other way is to drop the tank and afaik it hassel to do.

Wouldn't bother changing the pump mate. My hybrid is running my 16v one and is fine.

Not worth the hassle/cost.
