 Those big steering corrections at high speed corners are amazing.

Isn't 8:24 secs close to the production record or something?

Official production record is sub-seven minutes now, in some stupid-named German kit car. Although unofficially, it's a V8 Radical (driven by Phil Bennet, I think?), but the Germans haven't allowed it because it's British and they got upset (true!)

Although neither are 'proper' road cars really. I think that record goes to the Carrera GT, at 7.15, or something similar.

Just watched it again and it's probably the best car control I've seen tbh the steering inputs to keep the thing on the straight and narrow are silly....just awesome

They don't include the radical as its not a German road legal car.
The video is amazing but I still prefere the M3 GTR doing a 6.55 lap (also does the F1 circuit)

Aye, it's not Type TUV approved or something. But really it's just because they're a bunch of bad, sulky losers :P

I think this is the same car, different driver. Has quite a bit of exterior helicopter shots. Every bit as scary as the first one in the post. 13MB file.

I think that's the same driver mate. He's the RUF test driver. I'm trying to find the DVD, but it's only available as a set for $80
