I have had my Valver a while now, but never got round to taking some clean pictures of it, so here they are.
I have made it back to standard apart from the Exhaust and Custom Intake.

Renault made it like that so it handle well and wouldn't try to oversteer into the nearest bush :P

It is quite high at the back, but it doesn have any interior at the back, nor the spare wheel so dont help things, but she handles really well so dont matter.

Cheers for the comments.

Just to be a cock.....

A higher rear end will induce oversteer!

Lowering the rear of a car, compared with the front, has the effect of inducing "turn in" understeer.

Could prob do with being lowered 25mm just to compensate for the heavy rear seats and interior!

I'm not so sure. I was told otherwise :? . Surely if the front is lower than the back, there is less chance of the weight transferring to the front and causing lift-off oversteer?

And look the front end of a 205 GTi...higher than the front. Evil handling car

I may well be completely wrong. 50/50 :P

I assume you mean rear end of the 205 is higher than the front!

Yeah its good to have the front end lower than the rear....more progressive stance...better handling in general....and probably bit better in lift-off oversteer situation, but a higher rear end will mean less weight transfered to it meaning less rear tyre grip, meaning more turn in oversteer as the front wheels grip far better than the back...and the rear axle is more likely to "cock a wheel".

Suppose at the end of the day its all about getting a balance...and something that you feel comfortable driving with.

The STANDARD clio 16v's were setup in such a way that the rear was (x) amount higher at the rear than the front for such reasons. Removing the rear seats....about 20kg's will raise the rear by around 15mm, which can upset the handling!

I always thought higher back end mean less understeer more oversteer...... and after sampling the handling of mine at donny I can confirm it's true!

Just watch out for the oversteer!

Yes, the front is higher than the rear is what I meant to say

I think your explaination sounds better anyway, so I'll go with that :P
