Why??

According to the manufacturers of Walkers crisps the reason their bags often appear empty is due to the contents settling during transit.

However, in an experiment i carried out today at work (my job involves a lot of sitting around) I managed to get the contents of 3 bags of salt 'n' vinegar crisps into one empty packet and still get it closed. i then re-enacted the settling ""Phenomenom"" by violently walking and jumping up and down, before driving round the block twice (italian roads are bumpy too). When i had finished there were just as many crisps in the bag!!
