have bought gunners old chip off him so my ecu is away for a few days whiles it's soldered in. i've got my old valvers ecu. will it run on it or is it a bad idea

a valver ecu will run a valver engine mate....

a valver ecu in a williams..... Mmmm could give it a try ?

it probally wouldnt work as the fuel/air ratio is probally different and either wouldnt start or would run like a pig

but theres no harm in trying

they are not that different it will start up and run, don't go thrashing it or you will eventually cause meltdown.

sorted it now. it runs with a lumpy idle. only doing the essential miles in it till my chipped ecu comes back for the pod mission.

so will r19 loom run on the clio? still f7p engine, just different manifold

i think youll find the same as vicer versa it runs a bit lumpy !!

not really as ecu and brown plug locations are totally different.
