View Full Version : F7P/F7R engine block size and weight
can any1 let me know?
the sizes i want are depth, length and width and the weight!
thankyouplease :D
they fukkin heavy lol
well i cant lift 1 on me own anyway
... heavy as fook mate... me mat brown and my mate struggled to get one into my boot... ended up taking the boot off in the end so could use the crane... and some well placed bits of wood... oh and a tyre... it got a bit A-Team from there...
lmao......more a team than actually gettin the fukker back out?? lol
that's what I mean, the getting out bit reminded me of a game of mouse trap with all the boards and bits of rope... lol
lol........who needs a hoist anyway?? lmao
wudda come in fukkin handy like
id say 120-140 kg at a guess.... Its f*ckin heavy!!!
why do you need to no the size...
are you on about JUST the block? or the whole engine? or the complete bottom end??
a block on its own isn't ridiculous
Similar anyways, an RSi block i can lift on my own, but then complete engine and box takes 2
Willy engine was whole when myself, Mr Brown and Griff tried it... it's heavy, at a guess over 200kg's... but then I stopped going to the gym about 2 years ago and am as weak as a baby's finger these days
yeah.block on its own, head and top end, and gearbox are all liftable pretty easily on their own like...lol..jus when all in 1 lump......fukkin heavy man
Why do you want to know outa interest
it's not just the weight though, there's fook all to grab hold of without putting the engine and yourself off balance... lol
i'd say a complete f7p/r engine will tip the scales around 180 / 200 kg
sorry lads....ment the whole engine not gear box though!
still waitin on those sizes :P
just interested wot engines might be able 2 fit in2 the 16v / williams
