remember sum 1 sayin few weeks bk that my rev counter stops workin and then starts agen cuz sumthin behind the needle needs changin....

dont suppose uv got a picture of it have u matt?....i take it u have gota take off the white back 2 the clocks 2 get 2 it?

Another set of RT dials you can swap them from are peanuts

wen u say unit tom u mean the block that houses the rev counter, speedo pety gauge etc?....all that will need replacin?

Nah if you take the dials out and take hte unit apart each guage unscrews seperatly, so just the rev counter

ill need a willy2 rev counter.....if i can use bits from a valver 1 though (not the face) then ill just need 2 kno which bits as i alredy have a spare set of dials....well geezer dus :D

hmmm maybe locked to non members :( its the bit behind the dials, piece of piss to take out and fit mate, i'm sure you can use the 16v ones as i have willy dials in my 16v. I've already got a good en ripped out of a set of dials and i'm based in brum, so you can have it free, heck i'll even fit it for ya, saves you butchering the other dials mate.

If Ill Moves doesn't take it I will. My rev counter doesn't rev past 3k as from 30 mins ago :cry:

Its the bit you need to replace, the dial face sits on top of this and the needle goes on the middle pin bit. all you do is unscrew it from behind the dials and remove it.

would have to post it to bucks mate, unless you wanna collect it lol

Very easy mate, just make sure you put the needle on in the right place and you can't go far wrong.
