Where do I connect this to?

This small hose came out of the hatch. I'm not sure what the function of this hose is. The right opening goes through the hatch on the right side of the locking mechanism. The left opening (with the white piece) wasn't connected, but is it supposed to be disconnected? I doubt it, but you never know with French car manufacturers. ;)

It's the drainage pipe for the boot lock inside the tailgate.

But do I have to connect this or does it work like a straw? If there's water in the tailgate, then you have to suck it all out using this hose? http://www.renault-tuning.com/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

A similar thing came out of my boot the other day, no idea what it does or where it goes, thought it was nothing to do with the car! :shock:

ive got one which is currently under the rear seats, i didnt know what it was for

any pics of it fitted so i can put it back on

White end slots into the bottom corner of the boot lock on the inside and the other end pokes out a hole at the bottom of the tailgate.
