I run toyo t1s, fecking love them, especially good on soaked motorways, no aquaplaning. Quiet too.

Each to their own i find!

Differernt tyres suit different times of the year and different drivin styles.

I prefer Goodyear Eagle F1's, also have Toyo Proxies T1-S's!

f1's are an all round better tyre, but IMO the toyo is better in the dry! (slightly)

Pish in wet/slippy/cold conditions!

Buy the best you can afford! Pay for shit and you get shit!

yeah but paying 30 quid for a toyo when it gets fecked is fine, paying 80 quid isn't!

Tyres always get damaged, the more expensive the worse the problem, I got a 6 inch nail in my toyo when it was on the car an hour.

cost is not an issue for tyre makes, it's the first thing that comes into contact with the road and therefore one of the most important things on a car. PE2's get my vote

30 quid or 200 quid and not use the car.

Hmm not hard for me but then again I am poor.

LOL

How do you find the toyos in the damp Chris, they are equally as good as the rainsport i had on before in teh wet, but i feel they are absoloute toss in the damp

in standing water on the motorway I think they are astounding, braking in the wets good.

In the dry they are ok, a bit soft and roll a bit.

In the damp though, they wheelspin out of corners.

For the money though I have to say I don;t think theres anythign close in the price bracket.

Gonna get some t1r's on the blue one when I get that sorted out and back on the road. See what they are like.

The tread on the r isn't as nice as the s.

I've found them aewsome in the dry loads and loads of grip, but then i run fairly high pressures, 33F and 28R....manual suggess 33F33R :?

i run the rears around 28 and 32 on the fronts on the 19.

I found at 30 PSi the rear tyres were only in contact about 2 inches across the tyre. Wet driving stop leave for 10 mins go back and the edges of the tyre were wet as was a good in each side then a dry 2 inch band in the middle.

They are good at high speed as well.

F1s. No question. Also as cheap as the Toyos in 195/50.

Seeing as you rate them so much how do you find them in the damp, myself and willy55 off here can't get any sorta traction in the damp, and they slide like fook lol

They are better than most but 1st gear is a no go lol

2nd sometimes slips but it does grip quite quick.
