If these are similar to HP stage 1 re-map's, then it's a good price

can these be used on the 16v ECU for hybrids ?

VIPERONE

i thought no one was interested so i put it on ebay lol

to fit the chip all you need to do is take your ecu ot nd then take it to a television repair man.. you need to buy a chip carrier from maplins.. 28 pin eprom carrier. get him to solder it in.. just take note where the notch at the end of the eprom sits.. and put the chip in the carrier.. easy it will cost around 75p for a carrier and £5-10 for the electronics guy to solder it in.

no only on mine.

On winstons it was fine..
he has ran some quick times with it,.. and a fast terminal.

think it was probably to to the smaller valves in my cylinder head.

An extra 2mph is quite a bit on a 1/4mile though. So perhaps the run with the chip was not quite such a good launch...may be...dunno...

yeah theres too many variables .especially on diff days.

but was it actually any quicker?? i mean on the road. its debatable that the chip made any improvements on std down the strip, but that can happen, yet be loads quicker a to b.

Gunner, are these copies of the Prima chip you're selling as you've a few in that picture?

Also - these contain a complete 2ltr map don't they so i should be able to whack it into a 1.8 ECU and it'll work?

Ta.

VIPERONE
17-01-2006, 21:44
No...there blank... i dunno about 16v yet.. i have a test ecu at my house to try my other ones one...;-) i'll let you know!

u33db
17-01-2006, 23:11
Doh - wasn't clear enough about this; i mean if i just plug it into a 1.8 ECU thats running a 2ltr it'll work as a 2ltr ECU..i.e mapped for 2ltr

stew
18-01-2006, 00:07
i would presume so!

mine is running a 16v ecu with a remapped hillpower chip!

Its a 2.0L btw!
