chris mate, did u post the resistance reading for correctly setting up the throttle pot mate?! i cant find em!!!could u post em again for me!!
how do i set about setting it up n all, car need to be in one piece 1st or can i set it up just on the throttle body out of the car?! its on my list of to do's n wanna get it done so it aint a hastle later!!
cheers fella!
Coops
im also interested in this
i got them from BenR once but the figures i was getting from mine were WAY off what Ben told me
yeah I did, it was in your shiny thread.
the resistance values are close but the voltage ones are better tbh. both ar e in that other thread.
cheers chris mate, found em!!!
are the values for throttle open or closed or what?!
ta
Coops
coops can you post the values please in this thread ?
red - yellow 5.78kohms 4.65V
red - green 2.01kohms 0.28V
yellow - green 4.27kohms 4.96V
voltage values are on a running engine around 13.8 volts at battery.
Thats what i use and they always work nicely.
e r brun mate!! :D
so is that with it closed at idle ?
also i get about 14.4v at my battery with the engine running, will this affect the values ?
am tryin to find out from chris mate, am clueless as to how to set about doing it!
the voltage will affect it slighty, but those should be close enbough. set it to those values then adjust slighty if needed.
checked mine
this is with the ignition on but the engine not running (bit late to have the car idling, neighbours got a new baby)
red/yellow - 5.03v
red/green - 0.26v
yellow/green - 4.81v
12.3v at the battery
for some reason my multimeter is useless at getting resistance values, it just doesnt seem to come up on the screen
