It's a festering shit-hole that lies on the wrong side of the pennines.

native tongue is urdu..........................but there are some 1/2 decent areas within reasonable travellin distance, halifax takes bout 20 mins on train, which isnt too bad, some nice places in between tho

Thing is though the University and it's School of Management is in the top 100 in the World, also it has the lowest cost of living.

Get yourself up to Newcastle IMO for management. It's low cost living in Bradford for a very good reason.

newcastle is good, got alot of mates there that rave on about it, good clubbin atmosphere and good friendly people who wont nick ur car while at the traffic lights

Bradford is rough as **** on a night out, but the accomodation is OK and pretty cheap.

Huddersfield where i'm at is pretty good accomodation is good and theres lots of cheap beer lol, oh yeh theres 1000s of fit birds aswell, not that you'll be taking advantage lol.

Well all I am interested in is getting a good Degree, I have never lived in the North apart from living in Scotland when I was much younger!

I have enjoyed living in France but you can't beat Home!....I am looking forward to having a social life albeit on a very low income. I am doing something that I never thought I would and following my dream to be a Lawyer.

I know that it will be a culture shock but realistically much of my time will be studying, I don't intend wasting four years of my life getting pissed and achieving nothing.......Fingers crossed got to get accepted first :wink:

i did fcuk about quite a bit tho n spent least 2 of my 3 years pissed, wish put bit more effort in but still got 2-1!!
