goes up to 1.5-2k upon firing up then drops to 1k immediately

1.5 - 2k is normal then it will drop to around 1200rpm then drop to idle as it heats up.

mine will drop to 1500 from 2k if its extremly cold, but after 15 secs it will drop to 1200 then after a few minutes will drop to 1k 8)
