today ive discovered that the fuel filter on my car is the wrong one, its about the same size and has the correct connections on it so its probably not a problem, but its the wrong one so its coming off

Renault supplied me the filter after first giving me one which was far too small, the next one looked correct so i took it

ive since found out that the correct part number is 7711 130 026

got one today to put on tomorrow, and its black plastic, is everyone elses ?

i know Renault can sometimes change supplier for parts but all the ones ive seen before, and the one thats on the car now, is metal

previous item was a Bosch made one, this is made by Megafilter / misfat and looks as below

so, whats on yours ?

Should be - fitted by the local Renault distributor's workshop. I don't go anywhere else.

Have the same metal one as above, but to be honest I would prefer the plastic one!!

williams will be differant to valver brun.

according to my Dialogys and my local Dealer, thats also correct for the C57D

i always let them give me the part number and check it against what ive got

Yeah. Dont blame you. The guy at My dealer told me that I know the system better than him. lol Inspires confidence. Not!

mine a metal one changed both last and the one i have now .. also it is the same as the r5 turbo

new to me that plastic one!!!
