you over in auz now janicus ?
Nope - but i'm leaving on Monday :D
Last day at work yesterday, so just sitting around waiting for the flight now!
good luck mate
hope it all goes well
Thanks mate - I'll keep you guys posted...
First thing I'm doing over there is a road trip from Sydney to Melbourne... should be awesome
Can't wait :D
wow it must absolutley shift!!
bit high at the front isnt it :?
thats if it will shift for much longer though  as far as i can see thats running on a std b/e and emerald ecu and loom is about 800, engine and box say 1k turbo set up seems to be from a cossie which would be pricey too, i;d say pop goes the weasel tbh, however i do hope i'm wrong and i get to see it running one day as with the figures shown it looks awesome!
TBH I'd want a bit more than 255 BHP/210 PFT for all that effort. Granted that's only at 6 psi but Some R5s can kick out circa 220BHP on a carburettor and they'll also be a shitload lighter with the little 1.4 c Lump

Thats CTM's car and its not shy, just needs some H section con rods and it'll be good for more boost and 300 bhp or more.
Whos gonna be the first to stick a 172 engine in a mk1 then ? Its easily done, torsion tuning said they'd do it, and quite cheaply too. :D
Not saying it's shy, just would have expected 300+BHP. Especially as the megane 225 has, well 225BHP out of an f4r I was going to put the f4r in mine but summised that it'd need standalone management, bodgy wiring etc, etc ££ So I just went with a F7R

in this country ? I know of those 2 in france, whos done it in the UK, got any links ?
plus i'm sure you could run it on the std management, just splice it into the dash loom and get the ECU unlocked by fastchip. then you need to get an exhaust manifold made up or modify a std one. goes on the F4R mounts, can use the 16v/williams shafts (depending on track) bobs your uncle
Exactly mate. Splice=Bodge.
