Only noticed this when the cars really COLD... but 1st and especially 2nd gear have got quite notchy!! The retaining springs still intact as are all the engine mounts etc... GearBox oil was changed not too long back and its fine as once shes warm!

Just wondered if anyone else has seen this??

Im wondering if the ball joint just need greasing up? :?

Well im gonna check oil level and the linkage assembly... Beyond that im thinking the clutch cable may be on its way out! :?

1st and now 2nd gear are a cunt to get in while you are moving, 2nd will engagae when going really slow, and you ahve to be almost stopped to get 1st in, only when its cold tho

I hope not or it doesn't say much for a certain "mechanic" who changed it...

Same here. The oil has been changed not long ago too. When warmed up it shifts gears very smoothly.

But it won't let me enjoy that too much, because then the clutch pedal starts to feel awkward. I have no idea what causes it. It appeared a few days after the new clutch was fitted. http://smile.smilies.nl/413.gif

Im having a look at the weekend so ill let ya know how i get on...

Its either the shift mech or a clutch issue, i can drop it in fine if i sync the rev's so im thinking its more an external issue...
