Got a video camera for xmas, made up my own headrest mount for it so decided to do a few vids, not quite got rid of all the shaking but not bad say it cost prob a tenner to make!

Cars a completly standard 306 GTI-6, did have a mk1 172 prior to this but the 6 is in a whole other league for involvement and entertainment.

Country road fun

0-100, private road obviously

Throttle blipping, 50-70 in 3/4/5

Quite chilly outside, 3 degrees so ideal temp to get some vids, not too slippy and nice cold air being sucked in, freshly serviced also.

Oh and helped Craigous get the Clio running again yesterday, popping to fook:

Strange thing about the Clio, sounded like battery was dead so got a power station thing hooked up, still wouldn't start so got jump leads going from 6 onto Clio and still no luck, was very strange, was definitly taking power from the 6 an all and the batterys massive in that, had to bump it in the end, starts fine again now, very odd!!

no HG is fine mate (i think/hope) its just not been driven for 3 month and had just been started up in the freezing cold (and it runs rich too) :)

it needs a good thrash!

its a bit crap from cold start cos the cold start map isnt working at the mo! If you litterally drive it to the end of my street without letting the revs drop it idles perfectly!

dying to get the fuker back on the road!

lol craigs head gasket on the way out ?lol.

its not actually a dizzy matey, its a ford coil pack, thats why the leads i have at the mo arent ideal as they arent specificly made for the clio.

i need to get some custom ones made from magnecore with clio ends on one side and ford fiesta on the other

god knows how much they will cost!

20 seconds standard to 100 aye, Pug figures are conservative though I'm sure, think they test there cars with a full tank of fuel and a passenger. I'm running 50 tyres instead of 55s also so it will appear a little quicker, actual 100mph will need to be doing 108 ish!

In gear times more interesting imo!

Looks very fast that... alittle too fast if I'm being honest. Lovely cars the 306 ( I had a Dturbo) even if ChrisH say's they're rubbish.

I'm going to have to take the VTS out to time the 0-100. I'm sure a 6 shouldn't be doing it that quickly!

Having said that all the cars I've ever driven have been 10% out on the clocks so 100 is more like 90.

Is about 18 seconds to 100 in reality, check previous posts!
