Ideally i want 50/50 weight distribution front and rear, so if i'm at say 70/30 front/rear, do i raise or lower the arse end to get more weight onto it?

lower

but remember it works diagonally.

also u'll have a hard job getting 50/50 split with a fwd car. waht you'll probably find is that you will change the RH's so much that you'll **** up the camber. then u adjust that, then the toe will be out, etc etc...it can be a viscous circle, and u have to know when to stop....its more important to get it equal side to side (left to right).

Yeah, trying to improve it slightly, ****ing back end keeps letting go

what tyres u goton the back? what dampers u got? if adjustable try softening them

unless u make the back adjustable eg toe/camber, your limited

Just got shitty std shocks on there atm, need ot get some adjustable ones, and i'm gonna try lowering the tyre pressure by 5psi, running 195/45 eagle f1's on teh rear

rather than just lowering them, you need to measure temps across the width of the tyre after a few laps (when tyres are hot), so that you can see if the whole of the tyre is working.

eg: if the temps show the shoulders are hotter than the middle, so the pressure is to low. conversly if the middle is hottest , its over inflated. you need to get it pretty much even to ensure all the surface is working.

it may be that they are already low, and so dropping 5psi will only make it worse....u wont know until u measure temps.

Don't seem to have this problem on track, just on greasy roads, handles like its on rails on the track, but then i run 35/26 on track, IIRC my road pressures are 33/28

Probably find as its set up well for the track, your road going performance is lost.
Could the rear be to stiff, so bumps and stuff unsettle it easily?

I'm also wondering if it could be me sub consiously backing off aswell

Nah, running stock shocks on the back atm till funds permit adjustable ones

Perhaps that's your problem? Shocks suited to being lowered will work better than the standard ones which aren't.

After doing extensive 'research' involving lots of 4 wheel drifting i ahve come to the onclusion that it was me sub consiously easing off the gas, unsettleing the back end....but better rear shocks are ont he shopping list

Instead of the present 33/28 pressures, try 33/31. That should tame the tail a bit. Although at 33/28, the tail should be easy enough to control on the slide. Maybe there not enough grip on the road surface this time of year.

Its defo the road surface, it goes and you can easily get it back in check, in the dry its like its on rails
