View Full Version : std williams cams in a 16v
This may be a stupid question so feel free to slate me but can it be done. i thought the williams ones opened the valves more....
any ideas.... its just a have some spare....
and i now have a 16V
Would work just fine, but with no great ruslts in power.
Maybe if combined with a remap.
I tried to do the same but the cams I was sent were std from 1.8
slighlty more lift. have exact figures somewhere....been meaning to dig them out for a while now!
10.9mm mmlift vs 9.99 or somehting liek that i'm sure the Williams has1 mm more though.
good god... is that all the have as std!?
God's got nowt to do with it!
they dont have anywhere near as much as 10.9mm lift!
its more like 9.8mm and 10mm
yeah stan...its bout fukkin time u dug the figuyres out....3 weeks off too ya lazy bastyard lol
...that's even worse :?
172's come with 260 duration cams as standard with more lift that on the F7R's, so technically if we are to compare all we are doing is building our cars to the same spec... therefore I conclude mine is standard...
but 172's use VVT to reduce emmision output on idle
1.8 in 9.17mm
1.8 ex 8.56mm
willy in 9.83mm
willy ex 9.07mm
megane 2.0 in 9.09mm
