Jenvey rock mate 8)
Am I right in saying almost every set of throttle bodies in the uk is from the same manufacturer? And therefore, in most cases, you're paying extra just for the privilige of having the Jenvey name because it's the most recognised brand of tb's?
Not saying there's anything wrong with them, just worth considering everything else.
Or I could be wrong :P
wot TBs wud b best 2 purchase then off there....dusnt av 2 b thes best ....but the best value 4 money
I would speak to Ben R mate. Due to lack of room, its important that you get the right ones, along with everything else so it all fits :)
jenveys are on the white beast aye!
iirc Craigs are the same sized TB's as on the M3
did u have 2 make mods 2 ur bonet craig?
IIRC he didnt! The front cross member had to be removed, and a bespoke smaller radiator used. See his pic gallery (I'm sure he has one somewhere)
I think, you can get away with using the O/E radiator with ITB's, (is that not what stan did?). I want to get throttle boddies but they seem expensive and complicated. Something for a couple of years down the line for me i think!

i used those. very short at 30mm, gives option of easily changing trumpet length (mine are 90mm long).
i dropped the standard rad. as the other Craig says, room is the issue with these cars
is it a complecated job fitting these stan?
fitting T.B's is a piece of piss...ur literally replacing the standard inlet with a different one and the t.b's...so if u can use a spanner/ratchet ur sorted!
the hard/harder bit is making the loom for the ecu that controls the engine with the new set-up. but if your methodical and competent it isnt impossible. Then of course theres the mapping.
will the fuel rail have 2 be adapted or changed m8? and wot about the routing the thortle cable, take it thats quite easy?
cheers stan :D
generally u use a different fuel rail i.e. one designed for the ITB's....but if u were doing it on the cheap e.g. using bike bodies then u could modify the original one i suppose.
