swaping cams will noyt have much of a increase.

When u remap the ecu to suit the cams the car comes alive :D

Willy cant have been trying! Std willy will beat a tuned (cams and headwork) valver IMO. Sooo much more torque to play with....and thats just for starters!

BUT.. its not only the head and cams ive got done.....
My valver has been de cated, Viper kit, full system Exhaust.
Trust me you know when someone is trying

no it could have, remember these cars are old and some wont be running as they should and some will be running better than normal... but a good Willy should put up a fight. craigs old valver used to beat std Willy's iirc, well some of them anyway

surely its cheaper (or about the same) to get a willy conversion as it is to get a cams chip setup etc...?

Saying about a valver beatihg a williams, i'm not far off the pace if Chris' (willy55's) williams, if i boot it a second or so before him he can't catch me till 80+ iirc

Aparently his car is running 185 ATF according the FCS mobilre rolling road with zorst de-cat and filter

How much are cams for a valver?

Lunner

£400-£500? + fitting

RSi cam is around £200 ish IIRC

getting the power down a second before is a massive difference though mate, look at my vid against the Skyline R33 on track. On the straights where we get the power down he just pulls away, if I get the power down before him I'm right with him pushing along... doesn't give a real reflection of the power imo.

Plus your RSI is far from standard, for the amount of weight it has lost it may as well have 20bhp up on standard. it's the best mod for power to weight ;)

Hi,,, just wondering if anyone has seen a change in speed my clio has noy changed much???? ( strange)

You won't notice much on a 1.8 with cams alone...its a little better with chip and cams but to be really noticable its all or nothing...i.e. headwork/cams/chip. Even then you'll need to be prepared to rev the nuts off it.

As for chipping, theres the places mentioned earlier and hillpower will do a remap suited to your mods.
