Bad points....

No tax
6 owners not too bad, but would be better with less.
Doesn't look to have full history or MoTs, so the likelyhood is it'll have been clocked. Always expect the worst!
Big wheels - Baaaad. Apart from effecting the drive, it'll put a lot of pressure on loads of other stuff (it needs and has had bearings for instance).
Lowered - Baaaaad. For the same reasons as above. Although I'm sure plenty will disagree

Basically, there's no point even thinking about bidding unless you've been to see and drive the car. You don't know what you're buying until you've seen it. :?

Apart from that, it's a Williams, so it's great :P

I've got 17's on mine and it eats bearings and lower ball joints.

Not too bad for me as I'm pretty handy with a spanner.

I like the wheels, they are worth £300 easy on there own.
Original speedlines are around £200 for a tatty set.

Mileage is spot on for the year and way lower than average.

Sounds like its had a cambelt failure at some stage - get a good drive and see how the peformance is (The limter should come in at 83 in 3rd, 4th 105) as one car was slower after the wrong valves had been fitted.
P.S if its been done right then its a good selling point !

Loose the PBV they are rubbish

The arches have been painted once before (lack of williams stickers) so have a look with a magnet to see how much metal is left.

Bar that it looks a clean car mate.

Things to check on a 3.

Make sure the ABS light isnt on.
And that it works (stop from 40 as fast as u can) mine is rubbish
If the sunroof leaks put a side a weekend to fix. (pm me for details)
Rust - the bigest killer of williams 3's. Check the door bottoms, sills, tailgate, chassis, subframe and make sure the arch liners are still attached.
Power steering is the next bigest thing to go wear out. Turn from lock to lock and listen for noises.

Cars always fetch less in Scotland.
A lot of people can't be bothered to travel 400 miles to buy a car.
