View Full Version : Earth point
Got a problem with the passenger side window it works sometime, also the temp guage light doesnt work checked the bulb and its not that, and the heater dials lights only works sometimes to. So im thinking it may be a earth problem.
If it is a earth problem, where are the main earthing point
Cheers
all the earths meet in a black behind the fuse box. There's about 3 blocks of black wires all meeting. Could be worth checking around there. There are loads of earth points. To properly chack them you'd have to remove the dash top and the inside sill strips at least.
another thing is the passenger window switche's are a common problem check its not the switch.
And how do you know the temp warning light doesn't come on? could be a faulty sensor. or do you mean the backlight?
heater lights can develop a fault mate - best bet is to find a unit and exchange the control panel
no m8 not temp warning light, im talking about the temp guage which tells u what the tempature outside is!

That'll be a dodgy connection. Mine came back on after a trackday. :P

There's 2 bulbs that light up the outside temp, check these.

Stick your hand up under the dash to the left of the fusebox, theres a black box up there which I knocked by accident and my temp gauge worked after that, as it didn't before. I didn't do anything else apart from that.
See ya
