Just to Clarify my car is on its orignial:
Engine
Gearbox
Mounts
And CLUTCH!
mounts?
they must of been them prototype 'strong' ones renault made for aboot a week then :D
Hehe. My dog bone mount is feeling abit worn though.
You must be doing something right.
What the oil change interval and engine warm-up routine like?
Oil and filter is changed every 5k miles.
Warm up routine is not going over 3.5krpm untill the oil is at at least 70 degrees on the guage. That is the hard part in winter though.
Heel toe changes and blipping on down shifts is keeping the clutch and box nice and tight.

Mines original engine, box has been refurbed nut the diff is ****ed for some reason. Its doin my head in lol. Ive got some knocking to sort out too. Think its the antiroll bar on the drivers side clunking away lol. Been to cold latley to look. :P
when my old man took my engine out the other day he said the mount was so bad it crumbled when the pressure was taken off it
he said it wasnt doing any work at all...[was the bottom mount] so my engine was literally swinging on the two top mounts
so thats why evertime i changed gear i felt it move [jolt forward]
and when i changed down a gear at high revs the engine would feel like it is gonna fly outta the engine bay :?
