translated:
It is the most effective solution by far. This admission was assembled in rally on the CLIO 16S and Williams groups A. It consists of a news limps with air exit of turbo R21 as well as a large scoop which comes to be placed in bay of parbrise. Indeed, the engineers from Renault sport proved that there existed, at this place, a stronger pressure and turbulences which accelerate the air in the conduit. Advantages: The perfs are improved in a clearer way. Disadvantages: Except the cost of the system much higher than the dynamic or direct admission, the principal difficulty is at the level of the installation of this one. Indeed the apron should be cut out, to move the battery in the trunk or in limps with left water, to move the bottle of brake, etc... This system thus remains held with the experienced mechanics and those which are in the search of a maximum optimization.

so basically that kit that Nick @ Hill Power does is very similar to this, and working off the same principles it should work very well

some carbs or throttle bodies have an airbox rather than a filter on them!

looks sweet that tho!

how is the air going to get there .. it should be at front .. this is a ram air system ..

best performance is in reverse

its common knowledge that if you do not have a splitter system on the front airdam then the highest pressure differential is found at the base of the windscreen.

Yanky muscle cars have had reverse bonnet bulges since the 60's.

if clio group A,s had this system what was the extra bonnet vent they had fitted for.

Maxi,

Looking at a cut away drawing there is nothing else below the extra vent apart from the filter housing for the induction system

So i presume it was another vent used as a vacum depresion to allow extra air flow through the radiator and oil cooler

can you suggest an appripriate scoop gunner, or provide dimensions?
