Just went into halfords and they have a sale on there own brand oils,
There 5w 40 fully synthetic is £15 and there semi synthetics are even cheaper.
Not sure if its my local store only but figure it will be national.

halfords products were all made by their leading suppliers.... there oil comes from the same co as castrol, same as their ownbrand wipers are made from/by bosch (worked for halfords for 3 and a bit years)

Halfords own brand wipers are gash, and Bosch ones are very good

the oil has changed a few times IIRC and is currently Texaco ?........

basically its whoever will do it for them the cheapest

It is made by Esso but to a budget/cost.

It meets API and ACEA specs for your protection and is better that a dino oil but if your car is modded or used on track, I would highly recommend using something more suited for the job.
