so we seriously sayin clutch then peeps??

got a question, will a r19 clutch fit?? got a reciept and it says its for a renault 19, bought on the 1/10/05, no proof of it being fitted but the bloke i bought the car off was a volvo mechanic and said i could see the old clutch if i didnt believe him, i didnt look as i believed him????

it only done 3000 mile since the date the clutch was purchased????

is the clutch an easy job on an rt, as i really dont wana pay someone to do it?

is it just a gear box engine separation jobbie????

no clutch should go after 3k, even if it was thrashed

Could do. Ride the clutch constantly and sit at 6kRPM.

Heh.

Could have been a failure.
Would struggle to wear one out in that time.

just spoke to 'mr.clutch' doesnt think its the clutch, more of a driveshaft issue or a circlip issue????

dunno wot to do?

ok, jus been out and cleared the 4-5 inches of snow off my car!!!

when you put it in gear with clutch and go to pull away as normal there is nothing, but the speedo moves??

if you put your foot on the clutch pedal and still rev up the speedo drops and all that moves is the revometer?

so the clutch is doin its job,

im now tryin to figure the diff circlip thing??

these on the end of the driveshafts? im thinkin there is 4? 2 on each driveshaft, surely if 1 goes im still gonna get drive on the other?

or is this wrong???

really dont wanna pay a garage to sort this as im more than capable, but jus my diagnostics isnt as great as it should be???
