Thought i'd post a quick update of progress, althought slow am still goin, n i aint got bored or pissed off yet!!

although i am strugglin to get last bolt thats holdin pulley on my new PSP, cheers winston!!:wink:

the engine has been stripped to the bottom end and i've been fartin about cleanin stuff n killin time till i can afford head work!

so far i've wiped the engine bay out n cleaned up most of the small brackets n bits n bobs! sprayed them n all in halfords cheap nasty heat resistant black.....my bottom its grey....paint!!gonna get the inlet, rocker cover n cam belt
top cover sand blasted n powder coated in the new year n all! shud look tidy!

also all the various stuff i need to get it back together showed up a few days ago, put i n an order at bb n they sorted it within a day so well impressed!!cheers lads!

mad innit gunner! u ever do this kind of thing before or was it straight in at the deep end like me?!!! :lol:

heres the best part n all, i already got 3 bolts i took off that i dunno where they go!doh!!you have any problems like that?

I have to do all my work on the drive infront of the garage (In the freezing!!). Pretty hartbreaking when you finish your conversion and drive for a week only to find that some tw@t had dropped a load of needle rollers into the gearbox when he'd removed it and that it'll prolly all have to come out again to be changed.

Haha, well i've already made all teh mistakes and know how it all goes together lol

Althoguh half of it was **** it cut it out rather tehn remove it, most of the hoses and witres were cut rather then unplugged

mad! how u fix it all? used sacrificial motor or summit to get new stuff to splice onto what u cut? all i lost so far to hacksaw n blind rage is lower timing belt cover and the fuel hose from rail to cold start injector!!

my r19is still sat in the garage with engine waiting to come out, only got mounts to undo but cant be bothered at the mo lol, might sort it soon

interestingly enough i found a cat in my engine bay, looks like someone had tried to swing it and failed miserably as it looked less than happy....... :P
