Hello everyone,

Right heres my problem i have 3.5k burning a hole in my pocket and i need to purchase a new car. Here are my choices

- William Clio (Of Course)
- Toyota Celica GT 2ltr
- Toyota MR2
- Punto 1.4 GT Turbo

What do you think i should invest in?? Car has to be under 70k miles.

Cheers :D :D

Williams would be your best bet with that sort of money - only decent Celica is im port GT4 and MR2's are gay  wouldn't touch a punto in any shape or form for any money :D

You would be able to get a nice williams with that kind of money, just make sure you get a guddun! It would hold it's value better than the others also

mr2's r wank, my mate has one and its crap and 30kg heavier than a valver, celica are too big and forgot what the other one was but williams all the way mate, fast, good lookin, good rep, loads of fans, its frenchtastic, make sure u save another 3.5k tho for when u need to buy parts for it

Cheers for response guys, The only problem with me getting a William is Yes it will be hard to find one under 70k for 3.5k plus the insurance will hit me for six....

William Clio group 17 as you already know, Insurance groupp 15 for the toyota Celica GT, 2ltr that is pushing out 170Bhp.

I was thinking of getting the celica for a few years and then when im older going for the williams?

Insurance will be a killer but id go with the williams. Low milage is for pussys lol. You find a good example and you will be sorted as these engines run for ever, its just everything else that breaks lol. Williams will be quicker than the celica too

Thats my only problem with the William is the DAMN insurance. Times like theses i wish i was 25 hahaha.

mileage isnt really much of a factor, condition of the engine, components and bodywork matter...on 70k it will probably be ready to break....

i smell hybird!

LOL

Hard pushed to find a minter of a Williams for under 3.5k. Thye always cost money - but so does every car.

Find a tidy hybrid - as fast if not faster than a williams, and you can pick up a flying machine of a hybrid for 3.5K![/u]

Celicas are slow as **** my Valver outruns em.

MR2's are OK if you're gay or a hairdresser, and unless its a turbo they're slow aswell.

Punto GT's are a complete waste of time unless you have shares in Felpro headgaskets.

Go for a Williams or a Hybrid.

See ya

3.5k will get you two weeks in miami with a hooker and a big bag of fandango.

Willy 2
21-12-2005, 19:01
£1500 Gets you an E30 325i 2dr
£1500 Gets you a drive in and drive out TURBO conversion with 270bhp 260 ft lb of torque.

£500 on whatever? Insurance?

See ya Hybrid / Valver / Willy.....thats where my spare £3.5k would go.
