My old Momo snap off wheel on my naples 16v, smaller was definately better to drive with. Think mine was 320 IIRC

I actually like the standard wheels it's just ever slightly too big for me to like, thats why I thought the race 320 might be a good choice as its not too disimilar to the standard jobby...

decisions decisions! gotta get rid of this airbag one no doubts about it.. the airbags never worked for the last 5 years anyway!

Daz.
20-12-2005, 01:08
just never has, the airbag light was on when I bought the car took it to three different garages and the same test came back, it was fine they just didn't know why it wouldn't work!

So I fooked it off and took the bulb out, Its taken me 3 years nearly to pick a new steering wheel, I had planed on doing it the day after I bought it!

For all those who have had airbags and switched to another steering wheel which boss do you pick? one for airbag or non airbag?

I know I won't have an airbag but does the boss have to be an airbag fitment for some reason?

Justin..
22-12-2005, 18:35
wouldnt have thought so, when the air bag wheel comes off you get the same stud left behind as a non air bag wheel

VIPERONE

iirc the airbags on mk1 clios was a self contained unit, the little light was to tell the owner the battery was failing or a fault, i dont ever remember them being connected to the car by anysort of wiring until the mk2 clio's, the pre-tensioners had there own computer to trip them to
