denser air so it's putting in more fuel to match.

think of it this way....the engines puttin out more horses!

If anything you should be getting more mpg...the air is denser so the engine will make more power at a lower rpm than before. You're enjoying it too much and gunning it! lol

Yeah i'm getting less too, similar figures to Brun

I don't believe many people consume milk at the same rate as their car consumes petrol though :?

not noticed it tbh mate... having said that when it gets cold my car usually breaks and henceforth is currently off the road... ergo I have no idea... took me a while to come to that conclusion...

did you buy 55 litres of milk too? thought not... 2 live you crazy bastard, your the only person I know that drinks enough coffee that it ends up costing more per week than fueling your car... apart from Northy and Gaz, as their Williams are scared of being driven ;)

Andyvalver
15-12-2005, 12:59
Only 4 litres of milk lol.

yeah, but lets be clear, its not because you use the extra petrol, it's because your not at home drinking 10'000 brews. maybe you should invest in some cows.

I don't think anyone was worrying about it. Just commenting on how it changes in winter.

And anyway, it's better to have a Williams and struggle to afford the petrol than sell it and buy a diesel. Not everyone can be as flush with your petrol buying as you and 2live

I usually get 280-ish from a tank in summer. Getting more like 250-260 at the mo and I'm going slower.

Zollo
16-12-2005, 11:37
Not that I look to see how much I get to a tank - because that's for nancy boys - but I reckon, if I did look, it would be about 330 miles.

In which case, perhaps that means I drive like a nancy boy? :?

Swervin_Mervin
16-12-2005, 11:39
330! You're Danny more like.

In fairness most of my miles are teh short straight commute and it's only 8miles so the engines only just up to temp before I stop, in winter. Got about 320 on the run down to Haynes.

Jamie.
16-12-2005, 11:50
i think i got abt 220 miles to half a tank last time i looked. but that was a m-way commute lol. doesnt that t/b valver get 150 miles to a FULL tank if he cains it pmsl
