i know its an 8mm something but havent had the chance to look.
do you need a special tool for removing it?
Also is there a washer that needs replacing also and does it have to be a main dealer part?

thanks in advance.

Normal sump plug key/socket and you should use a replacement washer. I didn't use one from a dealer the 2nd time.

10p for a new one.
I'm cheap but for 10p I'm more lazy than cheap.
