Had a blip with one of these last night. Basically i pulled up next to him at the lights, me in the outside lane hoping to god he didnt gun it in first as it was slightly wet and he would have just waved good bye! Luckly he didnt! Anyways pulled away in first and i gave it a little pop, not much! And he took the bate! Once i realised he had gunned it i put into second and floored it (Luckily with no spin!) and all he could do was pull level, then into third and i started pulling on him. Took it to about 90 then he dropped back. Was really shocked with the result and they deffo do not seem to be in STi/Evo leagues as standard!!

He was a top chap though as he gave me the thumbs up when i saw him later on! :D

There was four of them out so gunna check now if hes on GT4oc.com or anything! 8)

good work pal,

they are 240bhp standard but weigh about 1400kg and have 4x4 tranny loss! 170/ton without the extra loss through transmission!

i was gonna buy one a few months back, but bought that scooby instead!

considering these cars will hit a ton fron standing in under 16 sec and they weigh 1400kg and have 4wd trans loss to, your clio must be tuned to pull on one 'if he was trying'

i dont think toms has many mods, but iv seen vids and its defo very quick!

nah tom's is just a quick stnd one like mine... :wink:

Mine done 14.4 to 99mph with rubbish fwd launch so it stands to reason the celica will be slower from a roll...

must of been rr'd at FCS last year, a std williams made 180bhp atf!!! pmsl :lol:

exactly! not a dispute on weather its a quick un or not, more the claim of 152 atw with minor mods! if so i'm gonna go steal his car! :twisted:

Well it made 162bhp @ the fly or something with just a decat. Then a few mods later it made 144atw on the hillpower rollers. Then i got it and put the mani on and changed the exhaust and it made 152atw. When i had it on the RR'd it made a fair amount more than the VR6 ect that were there so its not miles off bearing mind theyre 170bhp...

Mods are basically

supersprint manifold 1.8
hillpower decat
Magnicore 8mm leads and plugs
Mongoose exhaust with straight through centre section
hillpower stage 1 chip with rev limit raised to 6900rpm
Ramair pannel filter in heat wrapped airbox with heavy duty ducting to front blanking plate.
5 turbo group n clutch
+ a few other bits!

I really think it may have been cammed though as the idle is lumpy as fook! Almost stalls now its colder

Oh and i plan to take it down the strip next season.....I know theyre not the best but i've now had a 14.4 on my G-tech and often see sub 6 sec 0-60's.
