Went to see a williams the other day and it was nice but a small amount of smoke came out of the oil filler cap when I opened this, is it anything to worry about?

Not a problem if it had been running and was hot.

im surprised you have never seen this, seen it on all 3 engines that ive had

does only happen when its hot though
