i have a std willy and wish to spend a bit of money on it. i was thinking brake kit, lowering springs and decat. reckon that would be 500ish. what wud some of u suggest

i can defiantly recomend the 4pot kit mate, std size discs will be fine
there should be plenty of springs that will lower it, dont wanna go to far incase of tyres catching archs, and lunner can do u a decat for £35 delivered so u will proberly have change out of the £500

why? was going to get uprated springs, not just uprated pressures

i got avo -25mm springs because the standards were broke at mot time and had the rear lowered to match and it looks mint and handles even better than before. got for it :D

as u know jamie i run about std height but 200lb springs, not had a problem with them, also use to run 165lb std height to

mainly reduces the amount of body roll, std are only 125lb which isnt alot really, mine is very flat now and still runs std height so dont run risk of the dampers bottoming out, also still have std dampening so it isnt rock hard and still rides bumps/pot holes and rough roads well, turn in also feels sharper due to lack of body roll

at both donington and angelsey trackdays it has been superb, very flat and stable :)

Might suffer from catching on the arches.

i got them made up for me through mark ritchspeed, there made by a company who supply prodrive there springs iirc, my older set (165lb) were made by AVO

Personally, I'd go for renewing as much of the suspension as possible. Made a massive difference to my 80k mile old Williams. Factory-fresh handling 8)

But as most people would wonder what the point is in spending money on replacing parts that aren't an MoT failure, and would think that it's boring anyway, go for a cat-back system, decat, and some Sparco buckets!

no mate they was custom made so not got any numbers, u would have to ring avo if u wanted some made up to your spec
