easy fix
Tested Items That Failed:
Offside rear stop lamp not working
bulb!
emmissions not tested [x9999] [no fumes out my back box due to blown exhaust
new exhaust
Horn does not function
very common, unplug 1 horn then see if it works obviously to need to move the feed wire a few I have worked on 1 horn dies and the result is neither work
nearside front steering rack gaiter insecure
cable tie
offside front PAS pipes or hoses leaking
dependign where it is jubilee clips need tightened seen this a few times as well only on clios the superior 19 never has these issues :P
nearside front lower suspension arm rubber mounting deteriorated resulting in excessive movement
new wishbone complete with new balljoint and buishes is about 30 quid
nearside front exhaust system has a major leak of gases
mid and front unions exhaust has major leak of gases
rear offside and nearside brake hose ferrule excessively corroded
thats is not a failure unless the pipes are leakign or rattlign about
front lower offside and nearside suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint
tenner for a balljoint on the offside and a new balljoint comes with the wishbone on the nearside
nearside front front CV joint gaiter split
pain in the arse but cheap enough

piss easy to replace the pipes
nearside rear brake brake cable has wires broken and is significantly weakened
new cables from gsf I got a pair for 11quid
front lower offside and nearside anti-roll bar linkage rubber mounting detoriorated resulting in excessive movement
gay clio design problem easy cheap fix
parking brake efficiency below requirements

Made the same sorta mistake i did, still ruhns fine now, only cost me about £1500 to get up to scratch
dunno what happened, cuz the car looked mint and sounded mint, just over the past month it has got worse n worse
but thakfully i have the resources to fix it [tools, storage, garage, lift, hoist, fully qualified mechanic] so should be really really nice when finished

lol or make sure you have a mate whos an mot tester  but i know for a fact the car is safe cos he checks it out b4 the test!!!! cos theres no way i would risk my life if my willy was unsafe!
well i aint gonna be driving it until it is fixed, not worth it
