Wheres the sensor for oil level? i thought it was at base of the dipstick tube but that one is oil temp cuz when i plugged it in the oil temp worked so to get my last dial workin am at a loss!!

It's shared with the temp mate. There should be 3 wires going in. One's shared power, one's the level wire and one's the temp wire.
mmm,interesting!! is it normal for one function to stop n other b okay? n if so is it new sensor time?!!

yes normally the temp goes not the level though so its new sender time at about £45+vat from renault
dammit! thats another one to tell the bank manager about!!hehe! :lol:

yes richy was duly stubbed when he argued with me about it.. the oil level sensor is located around the sump area.. to the front of the car.. rad off job.

yeah i made mistake of presuming that it was same 2pin sensor as mk2 clios have, tbh its something i never bothered looking at on my car as it works, if it aint broke dont fix it!! :lol:
