Okay tonight was cleanin n polishin night for the vast number of random engine parts i got lyin about my garage!!

wire wool and brushes n loads of chemicals mean now my hands hurt like hell but shud b worth it in the end!

i managed to fully reset the throttle body, just an exclipse of light round the small paddle and the bypass screw set two full turns off tight. this spec i got from retrorenault, anyone know any different nows the time to share!!

the iscv was filthy inside, good spray with carb cleaner n mmmmm shiny inside again!! 8)

good load of degreaser n the top mount looks passable again!!

the stat housin was a right slag to clean, all funny angles n crap, but wire brush sorted it nice! tricky n all tryin not to lean it on any sensors or the stat itself as i was doing it!

few other bits n bobs! the injector rail etc!

all in all a good evenin, but its bloody slow progress!!

you need an XR25 to set it up mate, either a dealer or Hill Power, your local garage wont have the equipment to do it

what are the values you have Chris

Chris H

red - yellow 5.78kohms 4.65V
red - green 2.01kohms 0.28V
yellow - green 4.27kohms 4.96V

voltage values are on a running engine around 13.8 volts at battery.

Thats what i use and they always work nicely.
