View Full Version : BMC Fits...
i havent got it properly fitted as i still havent got my breather filters, and i think im gonna use some flexi reinforced pipe rather than the silicone hose, but, it fits, even with my big 065 battery, only just though !

Just trying to get my post count up :P
damn u brun, u beat me 2 it  spoke to tweeks today as i thought mine would be here by now ( ordered it last tue ) but looks like im not going to get it till after newyear now as it didnt come on this months order  did u go for the 83mm hose and did it fit over the bmc ok??
hes trying to become the next stromba thats all !
Bend in silicone hose looks quite severe and it doesn't look like it wants to attatch to the adapter that well. Thats why I routed mine facing backwards with inlet pipe running down back of engine bay.
Throttle adaptor does not seem to match the oval inlet of the throttle body either unless it just looks more square/round from the pic.
To get mine to fit properly had to move the battery as far in one direction as I could and I think my battery is smaller.

i had to hammer my adapter on, and even then the holes wre out, i had to bend the tb bolts.. then i couldnt get bolts on the top 2 lol.
mine fitted fine gunner
i had to modify one of the holes ever so slightly but other than that it went straight on
the adapter matches the inlet perfectly, its not square ?

should have my proper spacer available soon :P
Guess bulge showing at top of squarish section makes it oval to meet the oval/egg shape of throttle body inlet.
You will need two different breather filters as both tubes requiring them are different diameters.
where did u get ur adapter from brun?
i could at one point supply them, but i only ever got a few and its doubtful that i can get anymore im afraid
and yes, the breather filters are already on order, should be with me tomorrow, just need some flexi hose
No room for a decent air feed though..just a piddly draught from the bonnet/light gap?

the best air filter out on the market is the clio group N one. there was a pic on the french site but i cant access it anymore.
my car is definately quicker with airbox on,,, whether the box makes the air more dense i dont know.. but it is certainly quicker... the gp a filter has a condenser thing on it also.
never seen that before
if you can get a pic or anymore info gunner post it up
